Home care & safety retrofits

A safe, comfortable home is essential to aging in place.

OneHavn coordinates everyday home support as well as aging-in-place safety retrofits—always through licensed, insured professionals.

Everyday home support examples:

  • Cleaning and basic organising

  • Minor repairs and maintenance

  • Seasonal tasks (snow, yard, windows)

  • Appliance delivery and setup

Home safety & retrofit coordination examples:

  • Grab bars, railings, and non-slip surfaces

  • Improved lighting for stairs, hallways, and bathrooms

  • Bath and shower safety adjustments

  • Entryway and threshold improvements

  • Smart-home additions such as sensors, doorbells or locks

OneHavn does not perform construction work. All retrofit work is completed by licensed, insured contractors who manage permits and compliance.

Health logistics

We make getting to care easier—but we do not provide medical care.

We help with:

  • Rides to and from appointments

  • Escort to check-in and waiting areas

  • Basic note-taking for personal reference

  • Pharmacy pick-ups and drop-offs

  • Appointments, medication reminders and more.

Managing paperwork and appointments can be stressful.

OneHavn helps organise and coordinate everyday life administration—without giving financial or insurance advice.

Many families are increasingly concerned about digital overwhelm, online security, and exposure to scams as technology becomes unavoidable.

OneHavn brings a strong technology background to help coordinate and reduce these risks as part of the broader oversight of aging at home.
